About RCGI
Ravenswood Community Group Inc. (RCGI) was established following a public meeting in March 2015 and became an incorporated association in December 2015.
RCGI is a volunteer-led, not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to supporting and strengthening Ravenswood and surrounding communities.
Our focus is on bringing people together, supporting community wellbeing, encouraging participation and creating opportunities for residents to connect through events, activities, projects and partnerships.
The Association is governed by its Constitution and managed by a committee of volunteers who generously contribute their time and skills for the benefit of the community.
Over the years, RCGI has worked with residents, community groups, local businesses, government agencies and funding bodies to support initiatives that enhance community life and create positive outcomes for the area.
What We Do

Our Achievements
Since its establishment, RCGI has contributed to a range of community projects and initiatives, including:
• Playing a key role in securing funding and supporting the establishment of the Ravenswood Community Centre.
• Delivering community events and family activities.
• Supporting improvements to local parks, playgrounds and public spaces.
• Securing grants and funding to deliver community projects and programs.
• Promoting community connection, participation and wellbeing across Ravenswood and surrounding communities.
