RCGI is a voice that will improve & maintain higher standards of living in the locality of RAVENSWOOD.

RCGI developed an inclusive constitution & became Incorp, for the ultimate benefit of all RAVENSWOOD residents.

RCGI is a dedicated volunteer driven concept. The Committee offer their valuable time to the RAVENSWOOD community at no cost.

RCGI will strongly consider & exclusively represent the community.

Annual membership is $10.00 per household.

The Membership Year is from 1 July to 30 June - ie an Australian Financial Year.

For new Member applications, your membership will be confirmed after your application and payment has been received and endorsed at a monthly meeting.

Our Objectives

The Ravenswood Community Group Inc was established after a public meeting in March 2015 and became an incorporated association in December 2015.

RCGI is run by volunteers with the basic aim of representing the residents of the Ravenswood locality to authorities that have an impact on the Ravenswood community and its development.

The specific objectives of the Group as defined in the constitution are:

To promote the conservation of the Murray River and its banks and environs in and adjacent to the Townsite of Ravenswood in the State of Western Australia.
To assist in the development of the Ravenswood Townsite in an orderly and responsible manner.
To protect the interest of its members in all matters of mutual interest.
To make representation to Governments, Government Authorities and Local Authorities for promoting the interests of its members.
To consider ways and means of improving or maintaining the quality of life in the area and to do all things necessary to bring this objective into effect.
To organize social functions to promote good fellowship and better understanding between the members of the Group and other persons with whom the group is concerned.
To join with other organizations having similar objectives in order to strengthen the Group’s effectiveness in the attainment of its objectives.
To do all things as are conducive or incidental to the obtainment of the above objectives or an
